Our dictionary holds 24,002 of them — every 7 letter word accepted in Scrabble or Words With Friends. Wordle draws its answers from a much smaller subset of common words.
How do I use the 7 letter word finder?
Type any letter whose slot you already know into the Right spot row. Letters you know are in the word but cannot place go into Wrong spot. Dead letters go into Not in the word. Press Search and every matching 7 letter word is listed.
Can I use this word finder for Wordle?
Yes. Map your Wordle board straight onto the three rows: green tiles go in Right spot, yellow tiles in Wrong spot, grey tiles in Not in the word. What is left is every 7 letter word still in play, and the answer is never revealed for you.
What if the same letter appears twice?
Open Display options and switch on Count repeats, then type that letter in both Right spot and Wrong spot. With it off the two entries are treated as the same single letter, which is what you want most of the time.
